PBteen - Horrendous wait times!!
So, I see I’m not the only one! UGH!!!
I ordered the Emily and Merritt rolling desk chair in the gold dot pattern on October 22nd as a Christmas present for our daughter. They gave me a shipping date of Dec 5th. When the date was approaching, I checked the status and saw that the date had been changed to Jan 17th. That date came and went without a single update from PBteen.
I have since made a habit of checking the status weekly and after 5 date changes, I’m now getting a delivery date of April 30th!! That is more than 6 months after I ordered the freakin’ chair!! Calls to customer service are useless as I keep being told the item is on backorder from the manufacturer. Sounds like they need to change their manufacturer to me.
So very frustrating when I consider that we have custom made pieces of furniture in our house that were all ready within 8-12 weeks.
And I’m sure that when I check the status in a week or so, the date will be sometime in May or June. The same thing happened with a console table I ordered from Williams Sonoma Home - one of their partner companies - the delivery date changed every couple of weeks until finally, at the 6 month mark, I got frustrated, cancelled the order, gave the catalog picture to a decorator and had an exact replica made for $400 less and in 6 weeks.
